Village Hall Hire Prices

We offer a flexible pricing structure that ensures you only pay for the space you need. Rates are determined by your chosen area(s) and whether you opt for exclusive whole-hall use. All rates are clearly displayed in the following handy table. Simply select the 'Weekday' or 'Weekend' tab to find the cost for your booking.

Please note that for one-off bookings there is a minimum booking time of three hours to allow time for set up and clean up.

Submit Request: Select your preferred date and follow the prompts in LemonBooking to submit your request. Please note, to submit your request you must agree to our Conditions of Hire Agreement.

Confirmation: Our Hall Manager will review your request and send you an invoice. On receipt of payment your booking is confirmed!

Your event: You will receive full access and safety details prior to your booking date.

Useful Information Before You Book

  • Insurance & Liability: While the Management Committee holds Public Liability Insurance, the Hirer indemnifies the Committee against death and personal injury or sickness of any person and loss or damage to property belonging to persons connected with the hirer. User groups should consider the need for their own PL Insurance to cover their specific activities particularly if you are considering hiring or using a bouncy castle. Our hall insurance specifically excludes cover for bouncy castles and the hall or management committee accept no responsibility for any accident or injury

  • Safeguarding: If your activity involves children, young people, or adults at risk, you must ensure it complies with relevant legislation (e.g., the Children Act 1989 and 2004). When requested, you must provide us with a copy of your Safeguarding Policy and evidence of relevant DBS checks

  • Alcohol: Alcohol is permitted for personal consumption. The sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited unless you have obtained the appropriate licence and provided a copy to the Hall Manager prior to the event

  • Naked Flames: The use of unsupervised naked flames, pyrotechnics, or hot works requires prior written authorization from the Village Hall Committee. Candles on birthday cakes are allowed, provided they are not left unattended

  • Equipment: All electrical equipment brought on site should be PAT Tested and comply with relevant safety regulations

  • Noise & Neighbours: Please be considerate of our neighbours when leaving, particularly late at night. Loud or disruptive noise outside should be avoided during church services

  • Car Parking: Cars may be parked on the front and rear car park at the owner's risk

  • Gambling: The hall shall not be used in contravention of the laws on betting, gaming, and lotteries

  • Your refundable Security Deposit is crucial for confirming your booking

  • Cleaning and Tidy: The Hirer is responsible for leaving the hall in a clean and tidy condition following the activity

  • Rubbish Removal: All domestic refuse must be removed from the site at the end of the hire period

  • Security: Ensure all power-using equipment, lights, doors, and windows are switched off and securely locked when you leave

  • Furniture Storage: Tables and chairs are available for use but must be returned to the store in the correct manner after use
